Challenger Door Woodgrain Decals & Push Nuts
(1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 Dodge Challenger, R/T, S/E)
Install woodgrain within a few days of receipt, as it shrinks till put on. No returns.
Challenger door metal trim plates have woodgrain decal inserts. Originally, these were a paper-printed wood, covered by a thick, clear vinyl. It had "ticking" scratches embossed into it to simulate the look of wood.
1970 Challenger door wood was a unique light reddish-brown. 1971-1974 wood was a darker walnut color. Our wood will fit 1970-74, but only dark walnut Challenger wood is available at this time. Our current wood inserts are a beautiful one-piece vinyl, with embossed-in ticking. They are available in two versions, as shown in the photo. Instructions include emblem/nameplate removal/replacement, decal removal/replacement, and black metal trim border painting.
● Version #1 requires removal of the door emblem/nameplate. If your car is Special Edition, you must order this version.
● Version #2 has the tri-point emblem area cut out exactly in the woodgrain, so it need not be removed.
● Complete service is also available to restore door woodgrain and bezels.
● Push Nuts (12): For door wood trim attachment stripped studs, #8863
